Very Well Cared For!
10.0First the location of the Strand Palace is wonderful, very centrally located near many restaurants and pubs and the theater district. While the rooms are slightly smaller than most Americans might be accustomed to, they are well outfitted and very clean. The morning breakfasts that can be included when choosing a room are surprisingly excellent. I received top notch care from the concierges there. Ishmael in particular when told I had to leave very early in the am and would have to miss a breakfast that I had paid for arranged for a black taxi to get me to Heathrow and provided a terrific bag of breakfast foods for the ride! All in all I would definitely return to this hotel in the future.
Friendly staff and amazing hospitality
10.0Really friendly staffs from the get go as well as the rooms being nice and air conditioned especially during the UK summer heat! Rooms are clean and free amenity too which is a nice touch when we first arrived to our room. The location is amazing, being 2-4 stops away from Trafalgar Square, No.10, Big Ben (Parliament) and Westminster Abbey. Great nice life, Chinatown, Covent Gardens and Leicester Square only being 10-15 mins walk. Big thanks to Bami (Check-in) and Forhad (Breakfast Staff) for being so kind and friendly during our stay here! Would recommend!
Location and value for money 10/10
8.0Great experience so far. I booked the single room which is small and compact but perfect for a few nights in the city and has a fantastic modern walk in shower and nespresso coffee maker. Comfy bed. The hotels location is excellent and the renovations look good. I hada light breakfast in the gin bar and Manideep was my server and super professional and efficient. Overall very impressed.
