Pretty but many small problems.
7.0Very good location. Good public facilities. I had a 6th floor junior suite. I enjoyed a really interesting view and a very large bathroom. Most of the staff were lovely, especially at night, but one or two of the morning staff were oddly evasive and mumbly. I liked the included water and fridge, and the water and ice dispenser near the elevator. The restaurant is an odd fusion of small dishes, but we found the food very tasty and the vibe very comfortable. Would eat there again.
− The first room I was given was much smaller and did not match photos of the room level I booked. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room was hot and A/C blew directly in the bed, giving me a sore throat. There was a slightly less uncomfortable chair-and-a-half in another area of the room, and there was no desk. Consummables were not reliably refilled. There was a kettle but no tea, facial tissue and coffee pods were not replaced, and I had to call down for toilet tissue. I ordered room service continental breakfast twice. Coffee and “warm” milk were tepid both times. Milk pot neck was jammed with had old tea leaves. Items were missing. However, the price was great - £16.50 inclusive. My biggest complaint was laundry. The form in the room specified same-day or same-day express service. I called Saturday morning around 8am for pickup and was told it would come back Monday night. Tried again and was told it would come back Sunday night. Finally after many calls was told to bring it down myself. I did, but then the laundry was never delivered. Finally I went down and asked around 1am and it was in the lobby. However, I believe it was dry cleaned instead of washed and had a strong chemical smell like Fabreeze. It immediately upset my allergies. I can’t wear any of it. The only saving grace is that I wasn’t overcharged.
