TRES BIEN SITUE. BEL APPARTEMENT PROPRE. NOUS AVONS PASSE UN BON SEJOUR.

Unsafe living conditions – had to leave immediately

− Unfortunately, this apartment was not safe to stay in. Upon arrival, there was a strong smell of humidity and heavy dust accumulation, which severely affected the air quality. Within 30 minutes, my mother experienced an acute allergic asthma reaction, and we were forced to leave the apartment immediately for health reasons. What made the situation even worse was the host’s reaction. We were told that what was clearly dust was actually “plaster,” as if this somehow made the situation acceptable. As a guest, you may honestly feel treated like an idiot when serious concerns are dismissed this way. All of this material is located directly above the sleeping area, and when the air conditioning is turned on, everything from the beams above is blown down into the room — and effectively onto you while you sleep. The host later acknowledged a humidity problem and only offered cleaning the next day, which does not change the fact that the apartment was not suitable or safe for living at the time of check-in. This is not about personal preferences or minor cleanliness issues, but about health and safety. We had to book another hotel the same night. I strongly do not recommend this accommodation, especially for people with allergies, asthma, or sensitivity to dust, mold, and humidity.

Location. 20 minutes of walk to San Marco, middle of the town.

− The shower was dreadfully designed: the water was not draining because of a flat floor and the whole bathroom flooded (no partitions between the shower area and the bathroom, at this point just have a bath in a canal). Had to do the maintenance job to soak the puddle with towels after every shower, because the water reached the toilet and even the door, invalidating the usage of the bathroom afterwards. If not the horrendous time-consuming towel soaking process to clean the mess, I wouldn't have got back my ridiculous 150€ deposit that the owners held from my credit card upon arrival. The surfaces were dusty, no sockets near the bed. The apartment was on the ground floor but felt like a dungeon to keep the prisoners from the Doge Palace. Only one window having "the view" of the street (because of numerous tourists looking inside we had to use the light-proof curtain), the other one being stuck into the wall. Therefore, the feeling of never-ending night inside, because virtually no sunlight reached the room. Perhaps it's the only option for this money in this district of Venice but I'd recommend not to get this cheap on accomodation or rather settle in Mestre with this exact budget. Absolute no-go, don't ruin your Venice experience

Muy buena ubicación, con un supermercado cerca. El personal muy amable y siempre disponible para responder las dudas que nos surgieron a pesar de ser fin de semana.

− El sillón donde se quedó la tercera persona es un poco duro para dormir varias noches, pero todo el apartamento está muy limpio y bonito
