8.0Overall, I would recommend this place but with some caveats. If you have any mobility issues, there are many stairs. The elevator is unreliable. We didn’t get stuck, but it’s recommended only for luggage. We visited in early April, so didn’t have an issue with hot weather. If there was a heat wave, however, this unit doesn’t have air-conditioning. I can’t imagine staying here in the summer. There are fans, but they are quite dusty, and in a heat wave would not be enough. There are space heaters for colder months, which we did not use. We stayed here on a Sunday night through a Tuesday night. On Sunday night there was very loud bass music coming from the nearby bars and clubs. Even with the window shutters closed, it was audible until 2 AM, which is the time most of them shut down. If this is a problem for you, don’t stay here. Otherwise, bring earplugs. We are from New York City and used to some noise. Our kids slept through it. Monday and Tuesday night were quiet. In the summers, I would imagine you need to have the windows open. There are no screens on the windows so there were some flies. I don’t know if they are mosquitoes in the summer. I don’t think screens are common here, however. Those were the major considerations for travelers. Small things included only four small rolls of toilet paper and the expectation that the occupants would supply their own if needed. The shampoo and body wash were very low, and there was no body lotion even though the sign said there should have been some. Again, we usually bring some of our own so not a big deal, but something to consider if that’s not something you don’t normally bring. We did have a hiccup checking in. The code they gave us didn’t work at the key pick up. We were also using an eSIM without phone service, so we were only able to call the emergency line through WhatsApp. You may want to have that number handy. The management company had to reset and give us a new code.
Should have been amazing but fell totally flat.
6.0The location of the unit was fantastic.
− Key pick up was a pain and not as portrayed in the listing. We had to pick up keys at a minimarket that was closed at 6pm even though we stated arrival was between 5:30-6:30. Super confusing process that I hope they will fix - too many emails and communications should not have been required. Additionally, the 2 bathrooms which I specifically chose the unit for were not as expected. One bathroom was completely unusable due to horrific smells so this is basically a 1 bathroom unit (which unfortunately is located in the primary bedroom so totally inconvenient and uncomfortable for all. Sheets were dirty upon arrival - to their credit they replaced them the next day but eww...also - nice that a Brita water filter was there - but it was full of mold. Basically the place could be amazing but falls flat likely due to management not following through for the owners as they likely expect. Ahhh - and lots of add on charges. One definitely doesn't feel welcome in this unit sadly.
This is a lovely apartment in a central location, but the issues in the hall bathroom need to be addressed.
6.0It’s a beautiful apartment at a central location in Lisbon. We wet able to walk everywhere.
− The water pressure and drainage in the hall bathroom is not great. Further, there is an odor in that bathroom that smells like a backed up sewage line.
Clean and good location. Water in showers with low flow
9.0Location was good. Good value for money and clean.
− To collect and drop keys somewhere else. Shower was very difficult to use in one bathroom The water was generally very slow
Super fijn appartement op een top locatie!
