Wonderful traditional home in wonderful area with wonderful hosts
10.0The hosts were wonderful, providing a brief tea ceremony and responsive to all our questions. The house was tastefully created and in excellent condition. We loved the outdoor tub, the efficient kitchen, fantastic shower, washer/dryer, and fancy toilets. Our location was perfect with the Gion Festivities right outside our door.

Excellent house to experience Japanese culture and within walking distance from every thing.
10.0Very clean, cozy snd close to everything. The host arranged a tea ceremony on arrival and that was a great gesture. Sarah was amazing and very helpful to help us plan our itinerary and all the extra work she had put to ensure we had all the information we needed.
Amazing traditional machiya house. Staff was very accommodating and cannot beat the location. Right by train station so
