Fantastic location. You can reach most of Venice highlights withing 10-25 min walk. The apartment is simple but comfortable. Kitchenette and a fridge allow you to do your own breakfast and occasional meal - if you wish - enjoying a quiet moment or a glass of wine on the small balcony, Easy to get there - the Alilagunea blue line has a direct connection from the airport to Ospedale, from there it is just 5-6 min walk.

The property was amazing, it was great having a kitchen to use, and a patio for our morning coffee. The couch is stained but the apartment is clean. They left recommendations for restaurants and baggage holders if needed, and clear instructions for the garage disposal.

− The first night there was a loud party next door, every morning construction in a neighbouring unit started early. However, those are not the fault of the property owner. Water pressure in the shower was weak.

We enjoyed our stay in an area of Venice where local people live, with fewer tourists.

Very pleased with Elena, who was very helpful to us. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, quiet location close to a beautiful square, several restaurants really close. Not far to major vaporetto hub.

− Very inefficient kitchen. No counter space at all. No microwave. There is a toaster oven with a tray to reheat pizza, but no rack for grilling toast. The only coffeemaker is a Moka, but as North Americans would prefer a French Press or single-serve pod coffee maker. We prefer an 8 ounce cup of coffee in the morning. Nice dishes and glassware, and adequate supply of both.

An ideal accommodation in Venice: a really residential area with authentic atmosphere (Castello), a very quiet and cosy place. Lots of shops, a good supermarket Coop in 5 min walk, restaurants and cafes. The vaporetto station Ospedale in just 5-7 min walk. A nice terrace with a great view. A well-functioning air conditioning. A well-equipped kitchen. We will for sure book again for our next stay in Venice.

− A kettle to boil water would be a great plus. I understand that Italians don't drink tea, but other people like tea... It would also be good to have a microwave oven. Also important to note that there is no elevator in the house.
