Wonderful Hotel Except for All the Children At the Pool

My husband and I booked this hotel, because we wanted a pool to escape to each day in Florence. The website made us think it was a cool, artsy hotel for couples with a beautiful, quiet pool. The pool is gorgeous, but most days there were at least 6 small children completely ruining the tranquil environment. The pool is also divided into two sections. One small area that is not deep and then one large area that is at least 6 feet deep, meaning that the only area that you can stand/sit basically turns into a kiddy pool. The staff at the pool are friendly, but they are not very attentive in the afternoon, and the pool area got quite messy with glasses and plates each day. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Our room was beautiful but small, with a lovely terrace overlooking the river. The staff at the front desk; the restaurant, especially breakfast each morning; and housekeeping were all exceptional.

Nice hotel but not nice service

We’ve stayed in this hotels many times bc we always liked the accommodation and the service however this last time we had a different experience and very bad service.

− Particularly the breakfast staff at the hotel were incredibly bad mooded, the food on the buffet was never being replaced and our orders took ages to arrive.
