A distressing experience that made me leave the hotel in the middle of the night.
1.0I would not reccomend this hotel to anymore in my life.
− Unfortunately, my experience with the night receptionist, whose name I understood to be Igor, completely overshadowed my stay in Venice and my love for this city :(His manner toward me was aggressive and disrespectful, and the situation escalated to the point where I felt deeply uncomfortable and unsafe. He attempted to keep my identification document and refused to allow my sister to enter briefly to help me collect my luggage. I ultimately felt that I had no choice but to leave the hotel at approximately 1:30 a.m. No guest should be made to feel intimidated or unwelcome, especially during the night in a foreign city. I expected professionalism, courtesy and basic respect, but sadly experienced the opposite.
