8.0This hotel had the most wonderful staff—so kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and very clean. Unfortunately, our AC wasn’t working, and on the second day we experienced very low water pressure, which was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast was quite good, and I always felt safe during my stay. The location was absolutely perfect—right next to the Duomo, which was such a treat!

4.0The property itself could be a gem. Great views, very nice staff. But the place was so dirty and not maintained. It is not a 5 star hotel no way. That said, it had character. With some minimal renovation work, some paint, and new floors and cleaning - they could have something special. But I would not recommend. Far better places for less money.

10.0When we arrived, we met the owner who informed us that we were getting an upgrade and then were ushered into this unbelievable suite with 700 year old painted walls, beautiful furnishings, and lots of space. We had an issue with the transport to the hotel and the lovely receptionist went out of her way to assist in resolving the issue as well as arranging a taxi to the train station. Best hotel experience ever. Highly recommend.
