The best hidden gem in Florence!

This place is a hidden gem!!! It’s quiet, the rooms are GORGEOUS, the palazzo is STUNNING, Daniella is the sweetest and most adorable human, the staff is attentive and friendly, the snacks and common rooms are beautiful. I could go on for the whole day about what a joy it was to stay here. Its location is perfect for walking to all the main tourist sites. Florence is small, so walking is easy, but this is in the center of it all. The breakfast is soooo good, and there are tons of super cute restaurants on the same street. The laundry service was quick and reasonably priced. We spent 2 weeks in Italy in several towns, and this was by far our favorite room. We stayed in the deluxe suite and it was just incredible. It’s great for romantic couples, and has space for families too.

Be prepared to walk 70m down the road for your breakfast. Noisy street - drunks 1am! Huge appartment but very limited services.

If you’re going to an ancient, romantic city like Florence, this is just the place to stay to keep the vibe. I can’t begin to describe the gloriously palatial decor—gilded mirrors, crystal chandeliers, ceilings covered with hand-painted frescoes, a grand book room and a music room with velvet couches and classical CDs. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with modern amenities like cappuccino maker, hot water pot, mini fridge and cool modern shower. We could open our window and see the Duomo! Wonderful, responsive snd helpful staff and great location close to everything. One of our must-haves was free breakfast. They give you daily meal vouchers for the most charming restaurant I’ve ever seen half a block up the road with great, filling options. If you like new and modern, don’t stay here. Also, if you have mobility issues, you should know the elevator only goes to the main (lobby) level and suitcases will need to be carried up some steep stairs. Our stone floor was a little rustic too, but it added to the charm. The other slight negative was that there is a bar or two on the street below which can get a little noisy for a few hours at night. Bring earplugs and you’ll be fine. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about this gorgeous hotel!
