− First room was too hot as the air con was not working. Second room was better but tried to use the tv for some background noise and the signal was so bad the volume kept turning up and down. Very poor.
Terrible Service and delays.ar check in
2.0Location and room (when we finally got in)
− Being repeatedly lied to about when pur rooms would be ready. Despite being there at check-in we only got in room 1 45 mins after that and Room 2 80 mins after. Other customers appeared to b3 given precedence and it went from 5 to 10 min, 3 mins, 5 mins, 10 mins at which point we complained and asked for access to one room so we could shower and change. No compensation given. Were offered access to lounge which we couldn't use as had plans. Were offered champagne which wasn't delivered. Such a shame as location is great and would have revisited if it wasn't for our treatment. We were there for 1 night and it was a stressful start. Preference seemed to be given to a businessman who made a fuss immediately. If they had been honest with us.from the start about the delay or actually cleaned our rooms before people who arrived 30 mins later, then experience could.have been very different. Also, as someone who uses a walking stick the hotel is not very accessible including steps down to breakfast and our room.
