Dormir dans une tour médiévale au centre de Rome

Son emplacement a 3 minutes des forums romains et son originalité, la résidence étant vraiment située dans une ancienne tour médiévale avec une chambre par niveau ( donc 5 chambres au total) plus un toit terrasse au 6 eme étage permettant de voir Rome de haut. Chaussons, boissons chaudes et froides ( avec cafetière et bouilloire) sont proposées gratuitement et remplacées dès qu’utilisées

− L’inconvénient de ce type de lieu est l’insonorisation interne car même si les gens ne sont pas bruyants, on les entend par le plafond ou par l’escalier. Pas gênant toutefois.

O experiență greu de egalat, in turnul medieval cu camere si paturi confortabile. Aer conditionat, frigiderul plin de bauturi reci care sunt oferite gratuit, cafea, ceai, produse de igiena. Terasa de pe acoperis este de asemenea impresionanta, se vede Colosseo, Altarul Patriei, Coloana lui Traian, o placere pentru cafeaua de dimineața si relaxarea de seară. Amplasarea este in cea mai bună zona din centrul Romei, se ajunge pe jos la toate punctele de interes, inclusiv muzee, restaurante, cafenele. Personal foarte amabil, lenjerie schimbata zilnic, si amabilitatea unei programari pentru taxi avand in vedere plecarea in timpul noptii. Giulia extraordinara! Voi reveni cu mare placere!!!

Not really what I expected compare to the other time that we stayed at Rome

The young gentleman who was working there was amazing and very helpful. We had cold drinks in the fridge Location was very good

− The elevator, room and bathroom were very small . The third bed was just a uncomfortable sofa ! The air-conditioning was fixed at 27.8 c and you couldn't change it . it was hot in the room.

Torre Colonna and the staff at the properties made our Rome visit extra special.

Giulia and the team at the property worked with us to resolve a broken hot water boiler issue, and the extra attention and accommodations they made were appreciated, and we were glad we could stay in the Torre Colonna the whole time. Giulia also provided nice concierge-type services for us that helped make our time in Rome especially nice. We also loved the rooftop terrace and the views it provides.

− Room 5 stayed particularly warm despite the efforts to ensure the AC was working well. It wasn't a big deal, but that's all I can say that wasn't perfect.

This was a fun try in an old tower in the old part of Rome ( well not as old as the nearby Gotum…)

Location, staff , space were all excellent.

− The bathroom had a bit of an issue with a leak, but it was fixed quickly.

The hotel room was clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient. Staff was very plesant to talk with.

The location is perfect. Walking distance to all major tourist sites. Very close to the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. Next door to Victor Emmanuel II Monument whose rooftop is a must visit with spectacular panoramic view of Rome. Also next door to Palazzo Colonna, a private palace with a garden and an art gallery. It is a gem that is worth visiting. The hotel is surrounded with restaurants, shops, convenience stores, and geological sites. The hotel has a rooftop as well, where we enjoyed the view of the Colosseum and the Emmanuel Monument in the morning and at night. It is a big plus. The hotel is close to bus stops too. It is easy to take buses to move around in Rome if walking is too much. Can simply use credit card or mobile phone to tap once on the bus or subway, without having to buy physical tickets. We stayed on the second floor, the room was very quiet. Most importantly, the staff was very nice and very helpful. The photos are the stairs to the hotel rooftop and the night and day views from the rooftop.

− The only thing that took us a bit surprise was the building itself. Once we realized that we were staying in a medieval tower, it all made sense, and it became actually special to us. If you don't mind using a medieval key to open a medieval door to enter a medieval room with medieval floor, this place is great.
