10.0This was my first hotel in a two-week stay in Japan and it set the bar high! Really spacious with dining room, living room, sleeping and bathroom. Cute decorations, enjoyed the bathroom amenities, deep tub, and mini refrigerator. Found it very convenient to local transportation.

10.0close to kiyomizu-dera temple and gion. walkable distance but away from main street where i can sleep at night peacefully. this is a nice, almost traditional ryokan because they have the tatami mat/eating area. roomy. peaceful. close to attractions. close to bus station. to me this is a perfect kyoto location- we wanted to be close to gion. bus ride from pontocho alley, maruyama park, and nishiki market. two convenience stores at 5 minute walk each direction. microwave available on 2nd floor. pj's provided. toiletries available/ provided

10.0Great hotel. Very new room very tastefully in line with Japanese interior design motif. I know, it’s Japan, but not all hotels pay attention to this as this one does. Staff was absolutely great and the location was terrific. I’d definitely stay here again.
