10.0Everything that was needed was available. Very nice rooftop apartment, fully equipped (plus aircons) and with a terrace with views. Host was very well prepared and very helpful. One of the best booking.com experiences we’ve had. Duomo around 25-30 minute walk away, on the street with many restaurants and shops nearby.

An spacious and quiet apartment in an authentic and safe area
7.0I liked the quietness of the zone where the apartment was located. We were able to find some good and authentic food around the area. The rooms were very airy and spacious. The air conditioning worked very well. The apartment was very clean. The host was responsible and amicable. He even gave us a bottle of wine as a welcoming present.
− The keys system was a little cumbersome because we had to open 3 doors every time in order to get to the apartment. The stairs to get to the apartment would definitely represent a problem to people with mobility issues or tired people like us because there was no elevator. The way on the stairs to get to the apartment was always dark. We always had to use our phone to light our way. The key for the front door specially was kind of tricky to make it work. There were two bathrooms but it was only one paper roll for the entire stay and for the two bathrooms. So this was kind of funny. What would you do? Rotate the paper roll? It did't work so well for us to be that far from the center because the transportation system in Florence is inconsistent and non reliable. When they come if they come, sometimes they come so full of people, you can 't even get in. Especially if you are traveling with a tight schedule, you ended up taking to many taxis at the end to arrive to where you need to go on time. So, definitely in the future, I would stay closer the center.
