Apartment offers beautiful view and quiet evenings above Alfama but requires extensive hills/stairs.
8.0The view from apartment 3B was beautiful but requires a lot of stairs. The apartment was quiet and comfortable. AC was a plus. Host was responsive but off site. Peacocks in the castle area are a highlight. Kitchen is well equipped, and started coffee/milk was provided. Remote access was helpful, though requires a phone app.
− From apartment 3B, be advised that the windows overlooking Alfama and the river are chest height and thus require a person to stand up to see. That meant no views while eating at the dining table or sitting in the living area. The apartment is off the beaten path and behind the castle walls, which means that access is by foot unless an expensive private car is hired. Walk will be approximately 1 km uphill from the river, and, once inside the apartment, approximately 45 stairs to apartment 3B (no elevator). The breakfast in a box was delivered late and was unimpressive. I canceled that portion of my stay after one day. The toaster did not work, but host replaced it the next day.
Overall, high recommend. Great stay!

10.0Wunderbare Wohlfuhlmosphäre und Umgebung, perfekte Ausgangslage für eine schöne Zeit in Lissabon
− Sehr angenehmer Kontakt zum Gastgeber, reibungsloser Ablauf bei Austausch der Daten und Bereitstellung des Zugangs zum Appartement. Die Casa Saint Jorge ist absolut ruhig gelegen in einer sehr angenehmen Umgebung in nicht allzu weiter Entfernung zum Eingang der Burg Sao Jorge. Das Appartement 1A hat sehr großzügige Platzverhältnisse mit großem Komfort und einer sehr schönen praktischen Einrichtung und Aufteilung der Zimmer, ideal geeignet auch für workation. Das Frühstück wurde in einer Box aus Karton täglich kurz vor 8.00 Uhr vor der Appartement-Tür abgelegt. Es war vielseitig und lecker mit frischem Obstsalat, Joghurt, Müsli, Croissant, Brötchen, Käse, Marmelade, Butter und abwechselnden Obstsäften. Obwohl die Casa Saint Jorge direkt bei der Burg liegt, lässt sie sich tagsüber bis in den Abend hinein bequem mit dem Bus 737 ab Praca da Figuera ( Nähe Metrostation Rossio) erreichen. Der Bus hält vor der Burg und es sind von da aus noch schätzungsweise 400 m bis zur Casa Saint Jorge ohne nennenswerten Höhenunterschied zu gehen. So ist es auch keine große Anstrengung mit dem Koffer vom Flughafen aus mit Metro und Bus die Casa Saint Jorge zu erreichen.

10.0La localisation de l'appartement est impeccable, à proximité de l'Alfama et dans un endroit adorable et très calme. La vue est fantastique. C'est très propre et l'agencement de l'appartement est adorable et très recherché. Le personnel est au petit soin pour les touristes.
− Il faut être difficile pour avoir quelque chose à reprocher à cet appartement!
