Heel mooie accomodatie met aantal appartementen. Alles heel netjes en verzorgd. Prachtig zwembad. Lekkere airco. De eigenaren doen alles om het naar je zin te maken. Ligt gunstig t.o.v allerlei leuke dorpen. Ik kan een verblijf sterk aanraden.

As you enter the gates of Tenuta Tegolato, it feels as though you're stepping into a magical land. Tenuta Tegolato is perfectly located amidst the hills between Florence and Siena. From here, it's conveniently close to San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Colle di Val d’Elsa, San Donato, Barberino Val d’Elsa, Poggibonsi, Certaldo, as well as Siena, Badia a Passignano, Florence, Volterra, Montecatini Terme, and many other places. We stayed in a family studio apartment called Fiori ('Flowers'). The apartment was on the first floor of a stylish building with its own entrance. Our accommodation was part of the luxurious Tenuta Tegolato complex. The Fiori apartment consists of two bedrooms: the first is very large with a king-size bed (also featuring a sofa, dresser, elegant desk with a chair, and a flat-screen TV; this bedroom also has a spacious walk-in closet with hangers, storage space, and a clothes dryer), while the second smaller bedroom has a single bed, a dresser, and a nightstand with a lamp. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the beautiful bedding made for a very restful sleep. Each bedroom has its own lovely bathroom (with a shower, toilet, bidet, sink, hairdryer, and a welcome set of toiletries). Each guest receives a set of bath towels and a large pool towel. Towels are replaced during the stay (a complimentary service, which is also commendable). Guests also have access to a very spacious and tastefully decorated kitchen. It is fully functional (with a large refrigerator with a freezer, a very nice set of cutlery, dishes, pots, a dishwasher, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, electric stove, and oven; a display cabinet and armchairs), with a large oval table in the center. The kitchen also features a fireplace, It's also highly commendable that the hosts have ensured both air conditioning and mosquito nets on the windows. It's also worth mentioning that the Wi-Fi in the apartment works very well.

− COMPLEMENTING THE ADVANTAGES OF THE FACILITY... The hosts have also taken care to provide a small welcome treat for guests upon arrival at the apartment (wine from their vineyard, olive oil, crunchy biscuits, jam, coffee, and tea). This is a very kind gesture, especially for travelers who may not have brought any food with them initially. On this occasion, I would like to mention another surprise the hosts prepared for their guests. On Sunday, all the adults at the pool were treated to delicious wine produced by Tenuta Tegolato, while the children received juices. When describing the space of Tenuta Tegolato, one cannot forget the exceptional pool area, which is a true masterpiece. The stunning main pool is outdoors, surrounded by cypresses and beautiful architecture. This area consists of two parts: a shallower section (for small children) with a water curtain, and a deeper section for older children and adults. Guests can also enjoy an indoor pool connected to a jacuzzi and a wellness area (with a sauna). Each apartment is provided with two comfortable reclining sunbeds with an umbrella (labeled with the apartment's name). Those staying in the pool area have access to toilets with showers. During a stay at this estate, one can participate in wine tastings produced by Tenuta Tegolato, as well as learn about the winery's history and the wine-making process. The estate also features a parking area for guests, which is included in the price. A significant convenience for electric car owners is that the hosts have provided an electric car charging station with two connectors. At Tenuta Tegolato, we felt at home, surrounded by warm care and kindness, as the entire staff of the complex (led by Doreen, but also Lorenzo, Barbara, and other employees) is incredibly helpful and friendly.
