Nice hotel, but the customer service needs improvement
5.0− I had requested a high-floor room, but when we arrived, we were given a room on the 23rd floor and were told that the hotel’s policy is first come, first served. It would have been better to know this in advance, rather than sending two messages and receiving “we will do our best” as a response. If I had been told that the policy was first come, first served, that would have been much better.

Great Location - Wonderful Staff
9.0The hotel staff was very welcoming and warm and helpful - from the front desk to the restaurant to the bell man. The hotel's location is ideal - my sons live in the West and East Villages respectively and I was able to easily walk to their locations plus much of the rest of this area of Manhattan. The room was very comfortable and my street-facing window was large.
