10.0Quite possibly the best overall hotel experience we have enjoyed! We have travelled around the world, but the overall experience of Marufukuro was unmatched. The facility was comfortable, relaxed, with a wonderful funky esthetic. The staff were awesome. Helpful, but not overwhelming. Polite. The lounge was a great place to relax and end each busy day. The room was also comfortable and included any possible amenity. Thank you to the staff and owners. You have outdone yourselves.

10.0My daughter has been looking forward to this stay for almost a year and you didn't disappoint! She and her grandmother had their best night sleep of our Japan visit so far and loved everything about it. Your attention to our every need was greatly appreciated and we will certainly stay again when we come to Kyoto. Thank you so much for making a most memorable experience for my girl!

10.0What a fascinating glimpse into the seminal roots of Nintendo's rise from a simple card making company into one of the most powerful Video Game companies in the world. Marufukuro has it all...a stunning architectural example of old world craftsmanship vs. Tadao Ando's modernist visions. The neighborhood is quiet and tranquil and is teaming with herons as a lovely bonus! Hotel staff is warm and goes above and beyond.
