10.0Amazing host and beautiful home. Super close to multiple bus stops for easy transportation. Next to 7-eleven and a couple restaurants and food stands to grab something on the go. Definitely felt like we got the full culture experience!

10.0I loved experiencing a more traditional inn while staying in Japan. This location is perfect for a relaxing and quiet getaway. I had no issues with communication, and the check-in process was easy.
Good Communication, but Some Cleanliness Issues
8.0Communication with the host was good. This is not a hotel but a private house, and we were the only guests staying. I needed to provide my arrival time so the owner could meet us for check-in, which worked out fine. Since I chose to pay on-site, I didn’t receive the check-in information until I met the owner. The only accepted payment method was cash. The location is not particularly touristy, but there are convenience stores and places to eat within a 5-minute walk. The cleanliness of the bathroom and kitchen could be improved.

10.0Absolutely wonderful property, exactly as advertised! The owner is very kind and gave us many recommendations on where to go in Kyoto. I hope to come back to Kyoto again and when I do I am definitely going to try to stay here again!
