Six of us enjoyed excellent location & the well equipped apartment, despite several problems.

Good location behind Naval museum near shops & Southern lagoon frontage. Spacious. Good kitchen, & washing machine Comfortable beds. Swift response from Tatiana, letting agent.

− 3rd floor, no lift, 60 steps. Poor management & maintenance - several broken lights, A/C not working on arrival & insufficient bedding as ordered, not checked before our arrival. Front door lock difficult to work - needs improving. .Toilet seat fell off. No ice cube tray. Shower & bath need non-slip mats.

Amazing location! Facilities were great, and enough space for 8 people. Plenty of storage in kitchen and bedrooms.

− Bed’s were not the comfiest in the world, but that is my only niggle. Otherwise nothing negative to say!

The house is nice and also the location, very close to the Biennale and in a very nice area in Venice. The host allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out time.

− There was no air conditioning in the house. When we arrived, it was 29 degrees inside. Despite a couple of fans, it was extremely hot, so we had to keep all the doors and windows open. I slept only about 2 hours each night and was bitten by many mosquitoes. When I mentioned the lack of air conditioning to the host, she claimed to have informed our friend at check-in (few hours before) saying if we still wanted it. This was very inconvenient, as prior notice would have allowed us to cancel and book elsewhere, on the same day for 8 people in Venice, I think it's very hard to find something. Additionally, we found some trash (plastic and glass) in the house. On the last day, the owner kindly allowed us to leave our luggage after check-out time, which we appreciated. However, when we returned to retrieve an item from our bag, we heard someone inside the house but couldn't get in as we no longer had the keys. Despite knocking and calling out for over 20 minutes, the person inside, apparently the owner's assistant, pretended not to be there! The owner insisted there was no one inside the house and suggested meeting the assistant at a nearby museum to collect the keys. I left, but by friend waited outside because we were sure there was someone inside. One minute later, The assistant opened the door, claiming she was on the phone, which was untrue. Her behavior was suspicious and unsettling, I'm wondering what was she doing inside hiding with all our belongings? Why did she not just opened and explain to us she was at the phone? This was the worst experience I've had here on booking.

Near to Vaporetto stop

− The shower and bath tub wasn’t draining water at all. Even the water from the shower was so low. Taking bath was a miserable part, bathrooms being in good condition is the first thing one would expect
