Great machiya, welcoming guests, comfortable room
10.0The house is recently renovated and has great amenities, like both showers but also bathtub. The room I stayed in could fit 2 and had a private sink. Toni and his wife are very welcoming and nice, upon checking-in you receive lots of good recommendations of what to do and where to eat. As a solo traveler, I’d stay here again!
− Nothing. I booked this for proximity to specific activities I had planned. You might need to take a bus or two to get to some other attractions in the center of Kyoto, but this gave me a real feel of real Kyoto.

10.0Scelto perché vicino al castello Nijo, ci si arriva a piedi, e pratico anche se si vuole visitare il palazzo imperiale di Kyoto. Quindi posizione ottima in questo senso. Bellissima la possibilità di soggiornare in una tipica casa giapponese. Restaurata in maniera impeccabile. La mia stanza era spaziosa e i bagni erano sempre puliti. Molto bella la sala comune con l'horigotatsu. Cucina usata poco ma completa di tutto.
