If this is how they treat tourists in Berlin I wont´s visit again

− We were told to have no heating and warm water during our stay at the time we were already on the way to Berlin by car - with the opportunity to accept a discount or cancel the booking - find a flat in Berlin at the marathon weekend ... We then received another message to scan my passport and take a selphy and send it to them otherwise we cannot enter the appartement. As I told them I already received a code in the morning as I successfully registered as all guests have to do - which was complicated enough - the told me they will deactify the code if I will not send the requested pics ..... never ever I had that before and I am a frequent traveler. They already got all the passwortdata, but the pics from the family members were not requested. When I drive the car I usually dont look at my smartphone .... and I would have been standing outsinde the flat and the code would not have been wornking. Furthermore there was no one to react on the given emergency phone number. We received the check out list when we were on our way back home - we were also supposed to clean the room eg. to receicle our waste ...

We really didn't enjoy our stay here.

The flat was as big as it looks on the photos.

− One bathroom was barely usable, the toilet didn't work and it looked like it was falling apart, the shower door was also dysfunctional and parts of the shower were falling apart and this was the bathroom that wasn't accessible through the extra room so that made everything more complicated. The water heater in the bathroom was extremely loud even when it wasn't in use. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything. Most of the windows were unable to be opened so you can't get any fresh air. The kitchen only had the bare necessities and nothing more. There was no cloth to dry your hands and no bags for the trash that you have to throw away yourself, you also have to clean the dishes otherwise they threaten with a money fee, but the dishes weren't very clean when we got to the flat. What made the stay worse was the fact that the distance to the centre was further than expected because the u-bahn line was out of order so we had to take the bus, which takes longer, and no one bothered to message us about that. We didn't get to use the TV because it was were complicated to figure out how it works. We had some problems getting in the flat because they changed the code to the lock some 10 minutes before arrival and it's hard to notice that.

Apartment was just half an hour drive from attractions. Size was good to accommodate 4-5 adults easily. Instructions to checkin/checkout were clear.

− The bathrooms need some work. One of the shower could only fit kids. Beds were not comfortable at all and we had backpain all 5 days we stayed. Wifi was not working and we asked them a couple of times but it was not fixed. Parking is on the street and hard to find if you come back after 9 PM.

Close to all commodities (public transport, shop etc), the flat is actually bigger than it looks on the pictures Really convenient for a stay with friends

− Not really well isolated : as soon as one was using the shower or the sink it was very noisy for everyone. The location on the ground floor and the bathroom window with a window directly to the garden. The flat was missing a few items (cutleries, towels)
