Satisfactory accommodation, conveniently located next to Merkat Sants

The apartment was spacious and comfortable for 4 people. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were shampoo/bath shower also in the bathroom. It was conveniently located right next to Merkat Sants, very close to Metro station and near Placa de Espanya (15-20 mins on foot). There were plenty of places to eat and drink around, as well as super markets, groceries and bakeries. The neighbourhood felt safe and alive! I liked the fact that there was a dishwasher and a washing machine, helpful for a 1-week trip. Air conditioning working properly and additional electrical heating machines were peovided in each room (although we didn't need them). Power plugs everywhere! The hosts were friendly and helpful.

− The apartment was not horoughly cleaned. There were hairs in some corners and the bathroom was a bit dirty. We had to clean it ourselves again. Although there was dish soap, no sponge was provided neither a kitchen towel.. it would be nice to have those two in an equipped kitchen. Also, some spoons ans forks needed to be washed over. The mattress in the big room was thin and the bed was extremely creaky. It was quite annoying the fact that we could hear every noise fro other apartments nearby as well as the noise from the bar downstairs. Windows need to be changed, too thin and single. I general, the apartment is old and there are spots that need to be updated (e.g. the bathroom hangers, the bath-tap).

The apartment is very convenient for a family of 4. There are 2 separate bedrooms and a living-dining room. The bathroom is super luxurious and comfortable. The apartment is equipped with everything you need to cook (microwave, dishwasher), do laundry (washing machine, iron), a hairdryer, TV, etc. I didn't miss anything. It's cozy and very pleasant. The "Mercat Nou" metro station is 100 meters away, and from there, you can reach any part of the city within 15 minutes. The neighborhood is lively and good. It has markets, fast food, very good restaurants (You must visit Glück and try the mango beer and Tacos Juan both are under 100m away), supermarkets, coffee and bakery. Highly recommended! You won’t regret choosing this apartment.

− It is a little noisy because of the one layered glasses. The noise was not a problem because the neighborhood was very quiet. The elevator starts from first floor- it will be a problem if you are with some disabilities.

The apartment was perfect for us as a family of 4. It was in what turned out to be a great location - between 2 metro stops, so only about 15 mins to the city centre. The apartment was clean with everything we needed.

− The sofa wasn’t super comfortable but honestly that is just being picky as we loved our stay!
