Het contact met de host verliep soepel en de locatie was erg fijn. Makelijk te bereiken vanaf het centrum met de metro/tram.

Beautiful apartment. Very clean, spacious and well-equipped. Tha apartment is in a great location, close to the train station, on a quiet str with a lot of restaurants and coffee houses. Tha hosts are kind, responsive and easy to communicate with.

Great spacious apartment in Prenzlauer Berg

Spacious, ideal for up to two couples. Two full bathrooms is a plus. Quiet building and safe neighbourhood. Communication with management was excellent.

− The kitchen doesn’t have a microwave or small/medium sauce pans (just two large grill pans). There was also too little handsoap and toilet paper for our stay, and no kitchen paper at all, so we had to buy lots of basic things.

Beliggenheten. Stor leilighet med to bad.

− For kaldt i leiligheten. Varmtvannsbereder til radiatorer måtte resettes mange ganger. Dårlig sofa.

Well located and spacious but old apartment with heating problems

The location is excellent if you don't want to be in the touristy area. In a 10 minute walk you reach Helmholtzkiez which has excellent cafes, bars, restaurants and local shops. It's also only a 10 minute walk to Schönhauser Allee station from where you quickly reach the historical city centre for sightseeing. The staff were each to reach, very nice and quick to respond when we had issues with the hot water and heating. The apartment is very big and having 2 bathrooms is a special feature- hard to find in Berlin.

− The apartment often became very cold and the heaters didn't work. We told the host and he explained that the heaters would turn on if the temperature dropped under a certain level, but we spent much of the time simply too cold. We stayed in spring. The boiler is old and broken. We therefore had several occasions without hot water. They sent someone out to look at it but basically it needs to be replaced. We had to reset it multiple times per day so on a day when we were out the whole time, we therefore had to wait after returning before we had hot water again. Small details made us feel that there is a lack of care for the guest experience: the cord on the iron was broken and repaired with sticky tape. There was no chopping board. The hand soap dispenser in the bathroom wasn't filled up. They provided no washing powder for the washing machine. Only 4 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 6 nights. We feel the apartment should have been cheaper than the Berlin standard price to balance out these issues.
