De Sunset Hideout is een toplocatie. Schitterend uitzicht, lekker terras en heerlijke douche. We werden met een 'personal touch' ontvangen. De ultieme plek om neer te strijken als je Lissabon wil verkennen.

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und in der Wohnung hat uns ein Obstkorb und eine Flasche Wein empfangen . Die Lage ist sehr gut um die Stadt und das Viertel zu erkunden. Die Terrasse ist perfekt um den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Ein Grill ist auch vorhanden und die Aussicht toll

An excellent base for Lisbon situated in the local neighbourhood of Graça in a small enclave of former worker's houses, close to a supermarket, excellent pastelaria (Saga) and other shops, and walkable access (if you don't mind the hills) to many attractions. From the initial contact the hosts and Valerie (who manages this and several other units for them and lives nearby) were lovely and helpful. Valerie met us to hand over keys, explain the layout and facilities. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a washing machine and dishwasher and supplies were provided for these. A complimentary big bowl of fruit, wine and chocolates were a special touch. The balcony has comfy furniture and offers spectacular views (and a fish pond!) and as others has said the shower had plenty of strong hot water, always nice after a hard day labouring up steps and hills.

− The bedroom is very small as some have mentioned but has storage and the lounge/dining/kitchen area is plenty big enough to expand into so this was of no concern to us. Unfortunately the adjoining aged care home had an issue with their air conditioning unit so that a compressor kept turning on and off every couple of minutes close to the bedroom wall and coming from a very quiet sleep environment at home, this was a bit of an irritant but not the fault of the hosts. The easiest form of transport is unfortunately the no 28 tourist tram which gets packed during the day though there are also local buses if you can work out their routes. The Metro station was closer than we realised, only discovering this on our last day, though would be again, a stiff walk uphill coming home but easy to catch to eg Rossio to go downtown.
