It was very clean. Located close to the Biennale, which is the reason we came to Venice. The owner was very responsive. Close to many restaurants, but away from the touristy crowds. Very quiet neighborhood. Air conditioning worked well, which was a plus to escape the 90F weather.

− I thought it was listed as being on the first floor, but it is on the second floor, making it a challenge to bring up our luggage.

The location is easy access to the main areas once you figure out the boat system. Not easy to get to initially when first arriving in Venice. The transfer system isn’t easy to fully understand initially and the apartment is a 30 -50 min boat ride from train station, which sounds like a lot but seems average. The apartment is also close to a great street with great restaurants and cafes

Die kleine, sehr einfache und bescheiden eingerichtete Wohnung liegt optimal für den Besuch der Biennale, sie ist mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Sie liegt in einem sehr ruhigen Quartier mit vielen guten Restaurants ohne den üblichen Touristenrummel. Das sehr bequeme Bett war nach den langen Fussmärschen eine Wohltat, auch haben wir es geschätzt, eine Waschmaschine zur Verfügung zu haben, die Heizung hat gut funktioniert und die Mückenplage haben wir mittels Mückenstecker (einen bei COOP gekauft und erst später entdeckt, dass einer vorhanden war) erfolgreich bekämpft. Feiner Tee und Kaffe standen zur Verfügung und haben uns abends nach der Heimkehr aufgewärmt. Die Vaporettostation Giardini liegt nur 2 Minuten von der Wohnung entfernt und ist somit bei Bedarf bestens zu erreichen, das übliche Brückentreppen überwinden mit Koffern und Gepäck erübrigt sich.

− Die Fotos hatten uns ein anderes Bild vermittelt, die Wohnung ist in Wirklichkeit sehr klein und eher dunkel, aber da wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren, war vorallem die gute Matratze und die Möglichkeit zu heizen, ein grosser Pluspunkt.
