Huge place in a lovely area of Venice!
9.0It’s a huge accommodation with plenty of space! It’s quite a ways from the train station, but don’t let that deter you—take the water bus! It cost us €18 from the train station to the apartment, and the ride was almost an hour of sightseeing. There’s a stop very close to the apartment, and traveling by water gives you beautiful views of Venice that you just don’t get on foot. We loved being away from the busiest tourist areas while still being close enough to get everywhere easily. The host also has an excellent key pickup system. It made check-in simple, and if you accidentally locked yourself out (which is easy since so many of the doors lock automatically when they close), you could still get back inside without any stress. One thing to note: the twin beds are fairly short. They were comfortable, but they were better suited for younger children than our 6-foot-tall teenager. The queen bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed.
− They only had one oddly lumpy pillow per person (more in the cupboard but no pillow cases available to be able to use them) so we wound up using our neck pillows from the plane I assume the pillows themselves (not just the pillowcases) have been washed and it’s broken down the inside filling. So appreciate they were spotlessly clean but weren’t comfortable. Super easy fix for the host, and not a dealbreaker for us we had a lovely time and would stay there again/highly recommend it to others!

8.0Location was ideal for our family, quiet, but still close to restaurants and nightlife. The apartment had everything we needed, the kids room with 2 beds was very spacious.
− There was no AC in the main area, so we had to keep bedroom doors open to allow the air to circulate. The shower was small but worked well.
