1.0− Old style apartment, not confortable with old furnitures
Great location and good hosts, but the apartment needs some improvements.
7.0We liked the apartment’s location in a quiet Venetian alley, which made it peaceful while still being very convenient for exploring the city. The small balcony was a charming feature and a nice place to relax. The air conditioning worked very well and was especially important during the heat wave, making the stay much more comfortable. The beds were clean and comfortable, and overall we slept well during our stay. The management were also nice and responsive, communication was good throughout, and they kindly allowed us to check in a few hours earlier than planned, which we really appreciated.
− One of the showers was not properly functional as the shower head could not be positioned correctly and there was no shower curtain, making it out of use. The second shower also had issues, as the shower head was loose and did not stay in place. Overall, this meant the apartment just have one shower and bathroom setup did not work well for a group of six. The apartment and furnishings also felt quite dated, especially the kitchen area and equipment. Also note that the kitchen and living area are on the third floor, so the stairs may be difficult for guests with young children, or mobility concerns. The management acknowledged the shower issue and offered compensation of €96, which was appreciated.

− With some slight attention to detail this serviceable apartment could have been much more comfortable eg decent sofas, a washing machine, a properly functioning dishwasher, better kitchen equipment and a few basic supplies eg salt, pepper, oil and matches (when there was a power cut we couldn’t use the gas stove).
