Die Lage der Wohnung hat uns gefallen! Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war in Ordnung.

− Es wurden zusätzlich 50€ für späteres Einchecken erhoben. Durch die Verspätung unseres Zuges waren wir nun doppelt bestraft! Vielleicht gäbe es noch eine andere Möglichkeit der Schlüsselübergabe. Die Wohnung ist für eine Familie ( Eltern und 2 Kinder) besser geeignet als für 3 Individualreisende - wie in unserem Fall!

Apartamento tranquilo y bien situado

Todo: localización muy cerca de todo pero a la vez en una zona tranquila con buena oferta de restaurantes cerca. Vista al canal desde las habitaciones. La amabilidad de la perdona que nos atendió y sus explicaciones y consejos. El apartamento tiene de todo y estaba muy limpio.

− Al rellenar el formulario de check in sólo ofrecen género masculino o femenino. Deberían añadir no binario.

The apartment is in a charming historic building directly on a fairly quiet canal in a residential area of Venice. It has great character & an authentic local feel, but overall, the experience reminded me I prefer 4-star hotels & resorts.

− Things I wish I knew ahead of time: Check in is limited to a 4-hour window; the host uses 3rd parties to deliver keys when it’s convenient for them, not you. There are 48 steps up & no one mentioned the light switches in the hallway, so I was coming & going in pitch blackness with my cell phone flashlight for 3 days. Heating & air conditioning are advertised but the owner sets the temp, & decides at what temp you should be comfortable. You’re expected to sort trash into 3 categories without any kind of bins & take it downstairs to the entrance. I don’t mind sorting & removing trash but the lack of any kind of containers made it a nuisance. You’re expected to clean the apartment before you leave, which may be why the tea kettle was corroded with what looked like dried porridge, & the coffee cups & a cooking pot I wanted to use were dirty- I had to wash everything to use it. The king mattress is a box of springs, terrible. The two smaller beds were so much better. A 20% security deposit is charged 7 days before the trip & refunded exactly 7 days after.

A cosy, clean and comfortable apartment in a great location, with fabulous views.

Stunning views of typical Venetian canals from this quiet but fairly central apartment. The apartment itself was comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. Just a 6-7 minute walk to the nearest water bus stop, and 10 minutes from St Marks Square.

− A/C not working very well in one of the bedrooms, and no A/C in main living space, but this is to be expected in a very old, historic (and therefore characterful) building.
