A great "hidden" gem hidden in Rome
10.0Great place "hidden" place, based in an area that you wouldn't expect to see it. The staff was kind, always ready to have a chat. Although the pace provides the option to park your vehicle inside (not for free), we were always able to find parking space outside for free, which is unusual in Rome. The structure was clean and the facilities well run. Our reservation included the breakfast, which lived up to our expectations. The structure is well connected to the city centre / main touristic attractions via the tram and a bus just a few meters on foot.
− Nothing to complain about the structure. Just the neighbourhood is a bit worn out, with the abandoned former huge building of the hospital in front of the accommodation, which is ominous in the dark. Also, on the way to/from the tram there are homeless people sleeping in the evening. They don't seem to cause troubles but it feels a bit unsafe, not to mention the waste they leave all around them. This is not the accommodation issue of course, which is just perfect; but it's worth mentioning if you are sort of sensible towards these kind of situations.
