The apartments are neglected, have moldy bathrooms and are filthy. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

The entire property is poorly maintained and neglected to unacceptable level. I booked several apartments at this property (Verdi, Santa Croce, and Brunelleschi), and every one of them was in horrific condition and far beyond what could be considered acceptable cleanliness. The mold alone is a serious health hazard. The situation was so bad that several family members ultimately left because the property was simply too filthy to stay in. Since we were a large group, moving to another hotel wasn't an option for all of us. Most nearby hotels were already fully booked, so we were stuck dealing with this nightmare. I notified the Booking about these conditions and field a report on day one! This property should not be available for bookings in its current condition. They also changed the listing name after I booked, which is extremely suspicious and makes me wonder if they are trying to hide previous bad reviews. If you have a booking here, cancel now — this place is not what it claims to be.

− An absolute nightmare of a stay. Every bathroom was in terrible shape (Brunelleschi, Verdi and Santa Croce apartment) none of the showers worked properly, and they were moldy, dirty, and leaking badly (very dangerous for older people) The showerheads are completely useless. They don't spray water they just spit out a tiny stream, making it nearly impossible to rinse off or wash your hair. Several rooms had air conditioning units that did not work and were also leaking, leaving puddles of water throughout the apartment. For a six-night stay, we were provided with only one bath towel and one hand towel per person .. which we had to use to clean up the puddles of water left on the bathroom floors after every attempted shower. The Brunelleschi apartment has four bathrooms, and there's a reason they don't show any photos of them in the listing. Multiple outlets throughout the apartment do not work, and one of my guests got shocked while trying to plug in a fan. It's so dangerous! I understand that the property is historic and old, and my complaints have nothing to do with the age or historic nature of the building. The issue is the absolute lack of basic maintenance and the failure to provide the essential necessities expected for a clean, safe, and comfortable stay.

Loved the location of the apartment. We had plenty of room for four adults and the air-conditioning worked great. Plenty of food and cafes right outside our door.

− The apartment lacked a few essentials such as paper towels and dish rags.

Last minute booking was an excellent substitution and rescued us from disappointment.

We had to make a last minute booking as the flat we had booked flooded the day before we arrived. The flat was very clean and spacious and had an excellent view from the balcony. Very helpful hosts.
