10.0The room was very clean when we arrived and very comfortable. There is a mini fridge to keep drinks cool which we really appreciated as it was very hot in Florence during our trip. I also liked that the room was spacious and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We were welcomed by Ilarya (I'm sure I've misspelled her name) who was very sweet and kind! She met us at the ground floor to explain how to use the elevator and even helped us with our luggage (she really didn't have to, but it was very kind of her to do so). She also explained how to use the A/C and showed us the shared kitchen amenities that were available to guests. We had problems with the A/C on our first night and Paolo was able to resolve it for us the following day. He's very polite, great at communicating, and a wonderful host! The location of the guest house is very convenient. It's right by the San Lorenzo square, near the Medici Chapel and a brief walk to the central market and great restaurants. Despite its central location, it's located on a quiter street and we didn't have any issues with noise from outside or other guests during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here. Paolo, Ilarya, and the rest of the staff are all professional, kind, and welcoming. The guest house is very well maintained and we really appreciated the cleanliness.
− There wasn't much natural sunlight in our room. But honestly, that's just being nit-picky and in the summer heat, this is actually a good thing. So it's really not much of an issue. There's ample lights installed in the room itself, if needed for doing your make-up/getting ready.

10.0Very quiet and secure and close to the heart of Florence. Newly renovated with a fully-equipped kitchen, airconditioning (we arrived the heat wave), comfortable bed, great bathroom, etc.. Great host - very gracious, very attentive
− I would make 2 thinner, softer pilllows available as well as I don't sleep well with thick pillows
