Sergio and his wife are wonderful hosts and we loved the property and it’s location.

− The property is also on the 4th floor and there are over 70 steps to climb to get up there. Hosts help with luggage in cargo lift but be aware of significant number of steps Bed could have been comfier and communal facilities for guests like ice maker and coffee maker would have been great,

Excellent location in a very nice part of the city, the room is very comfortable and clean. The staff is very helpful with guidance and suggestions.

− The guesthouse is on the 4th floor, and there is a luggage elevator that only the owner can use. This should be clear in the place description, as it is not suitable for everyone.

Nestled within a local residential area, it is surrounded by supermarkets and nice restaurants. Main city landmarks including Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore are around 20‑minute walk away or connected by a bus with station within 5-7minute walk. The property is on the fourth floor. Although a small lift is available, it is operated exclusively by the host only for luggage transport and cannot be used by guests independently. The rooms are neat and decorated with good sound insulation, fully‑fitted air‑conditioning and private bathrooms. Comfortable beds guaranteed quiet nights for sound rest. There is no on‑site parking but the host assists nearby car parks with discounted rates. The host and his wife are both nice and welcoming. They responded to messages promptly and gave wonderful recommendations of dining and city explorations. We had a fantastic stay at Porta alla Croce and highly recommend this accommodation for visitors travelling to Florence with cars.

The hosts were amazing. They were super friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond whenever we had a question. They even gave us a map with all the main attractions marked on it, which was really helpful. Sergio also gave us clear directions from the train station, so finding the apartment was very easy. The room was very clean, and it was cleaned every day during our stay. I'd definitely recommend this place to any friends visiting Florence!
