10.0I loved the home, the decor, the neighborhood and how nice and accomodating the owner was to me. She was very nice but I got to meet her in person only very briefly on my last day as she and her family seem to make an effort to give us, guests, privacy. Loved everything about my stay.

− I didn’t understand from the listing that it’s a shared house with the owner, and you can hear walking around in the house at night so it affects the romantic mood sometimes.

Great stay in Venice
9.0The space was very clean and the private bathroom was spacious. The location was in a quiet neighbourhood in Venice, away from the maddening crowds but a fairly short walk to the public transit (vaporettos). For a very reasonable fee, a hearty breakfast was delivered outside our door each morning. Our host was great at helping us prepare for our stay in this most unusual of cities.
− The bed frame was fairly squeaky and freshly squeezed juice would have made a great breakfast even better. Also, the beautiful staircase is somewhat narrow and steep, so best to pack light (the same goes for Venice in general).
