10.0A newly renovated hotel. A bargain given its location near the trainstation and its on site onsen. Highly recommend and would stay here when I visit Kyoto in the future.

10.0People are very nice and will do their absolute best to communicate with you. Very helpful and outgoing. Room was very nice and spacious compared to some japanese hotels and it had that traditional feel. Yukata was awesome too.
Good to know
The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc. ). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.
Please note that some properties do not permit guests with tattoos to use the onsite public bathing facilities.
