I liked the kitchen and laundry. There is a small canal and a bridge in front of the apartment where gondolas go by. There isn’t an electric clothes dryer, but there is a drying rack.There’s also no oven. Just a 2 burner stove top. Maybe the owner could get a small toaster oven. It has a microwave oven. There’s an iron and a small ironing board. There are 2 bathrooms, but the small one doesn’t have a shower curtain. I think 4 adults can sleep here with 2 in the bedroom and 2 in the sofa bed.

It was tired. The directions to get there was very poor. there was a hosue number on the place and it was never indicated even in communication

The fact it was central and close to boat transportation. The fact it so busy outside did not interfere with the quiet inside. The windows in the living room are located low enough that the gondoliers can watch from the outside when they float. So be proper or pull your curtains.

The apartment was in an excellent location. We loved the ground floor with no steps. The canal view was lovely and the extra bath was a nice bonus. The price was fair for the apartment's location. The furniture was worn and not very comfortable. It did not meet my expectations for cleanliness. The hair dryer mentioned from earlier reviews was still broken. Since we were a couple of days from being allowed to turn on the airconditioner, we opened the windows a little to get some air. We soon awoke to a huge army of mosquitoes, so be sure to bring repellant. Our flight from Athens on Aegean was late and we kept in touch with the host. He waited the extra hour and we had to pay 35 Euros late fee, so be careful to check the 8pm cut-off when booking to make sure you can make the deadline. At 10:29 am the maid was waiting for us as we left the apartment.

Charming and clean

We didn’t like the Venice garbage rules, but that had nothing to do with apartment. The place was clean and charming, but there was a major leak underneath the bathroom sink. I liked having a canal right outside the window.
