La ubicación es muy céntrica de todo, solo caminando llegaba a cualquier lugar y además el personal super cordial, atentos y muy amables con cualquier petición o información.

Mama's Home in Florence is in a great location, within walking distance from the Santa Maria Novella train station and the many tourist attractions in Florence city and to the Santo Spirito area just south of the Arno River. Access to the building and to the Mama's Home on the 4th floor is by electronic key-codes which allows you to get in anytime you arrive. The reception is not staffed all the time so be sure to check your communication with the property before you arrive. They are quite good at getting back to you on anything.

− The plumbing makes a pumping / sucking sound when there is water running or when the toilet is flushed. Unfortunately, it appears to be a design issue to drain water away so there is nothing that can be done. There are no towel rods for hanging your bath towels out to dry - draping them over a single hook does not allow them to properly dry before the next use.

Room met our expectations. Was in a great location. The room had a view of the river which was unexpected.

Super location with easy access to transportation and major sights.

− Although it may be a nice decorative touch, the netting around the bed was a bit annoying (we did manage to toss it up out of the way :D ) In room lighting could be improved, as it was quite dark and there was no way to open or secure back the heavy drapes.

The location was close to the train station, and a reasonable walk to all of the sights we wanted to see. We were able to shop, eat, sightsee, and get to our train all on foot! We felt safe and comfortable. The accommodations were clean and exactly what we needed. Would stay again!

The room served its purpose, but I wouldn’t stay again

Great location. A/c works well. Most spacious shower we have had.

− The bed is not that comfortable. Everything looked better in the pictures. Floors could use a better deep clean, felt dusty. The room was very dark even with all the lights on. There is no shelving in the shower to hold your products. The shower head also has a broken screw and while placing the handheld back in holder the whole thing fell towards me (see pictures) after messaging Marzio about this issue, we never receieved any response. In addition with the shower, one side of the door seal is half off and the other does not close tightly creating a puddle after showering. I did mention this as well as asking for some extra towels so we could dry the floor when finished but no response.
