Großzüges, aber leicht abgewohntes Appartement mit einer phänomenale Lage

Die Lage des Apartments ist wirklich hervorragend. Wir sind mit dem Flugzeug in London Stansted angekommen und konnten mit dem Zug direkt bis Liverpool Street fahren. Von dort waren es nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Unterkunft. Auch für die Erkundung der Stadt ist die Lage ideal. Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Tower Bridge, der Tower of London und verschiedene Aussichtsplattformen sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. In der direkten Umgebung gibt es außerdem viele Restaurants, Cafés, Supermärkte und kleine Geschäfte.

− Das Apartment ist insgesamt etwas in die Jahre gekommen und an einigen Stellen wäre eine Renovierung sinnvoll. In der Küche waren beispielsweise Teile der Front locker / fielen immer wieder ab. Auch einige Rollläden ließen sich nicht richtig schließen, weil sie kaputt waren. Einige Deckenlampen im Wohnzimmer funktionierten nicht. Den vorhandenen Safe konnten wir leider nicht nutzen, da keine Bedienungsanleitung vorhanden war. Mit ein paar Reparaturen und etwas Pflege könnte die Unterkunft insgesamt einen deutlich besseren Eindruck hinterlassen.

Many suitable locations for buying food to prepare or for eating out were located within 5 minutes’ walk. The spaciousness, comfort and range of facilities was outstanding; it fielded a fridge, freezer, oven, dishwasher and washing machine below the bench top, and a stove top, microwave, kettle and toaster on top. The deep bath was very welcome to soak in after a day's sightseeing, although the depth also made it hard to climb out of for older people (like me). We were very grateful for the air conditioning, yet the access to outside air on the balcony via a narrow door wasn’t denied. The location was very convenient for the exploration of London’s many sights on foot and by bus and underground.

− The bathroom handbasin tap was so unusual that it took us a couple of days before we realised that it had to be tilted back to enable water flow, unlike the seemingly identical taps for the bath and shower. The safe was locked when we arrived, leaving us without a safe storage for valuables; the problem wasn’t resolved during our week of occupation.

Everything was fine, we felt very good, it was quiet, the elevator worked, the position of the apartment was perfect, close to buses and Liverpool station, with shops and restaurants nearby. We hope to come back.

Location was great and the informations for the flat were very clear! Overall it is a good flat in center of London with all the facilities to stay for a week.

− The curtains were broken so the light was coming through at night, which could be annoying for some guests.

Posizione fantastica in una zona moderna e piena di locali. Liverpool street a 10 minuti di distanza molto comoda per stansted. Appartamento ben tenuto, cucina ampia e moderna e bagno accogliente. Check-in rapido . L appartamento ci è stato consegnato un paio di ore prima dell orario concordato

− Purtroppo per l intero soggiorno l ascensore era guasto e non è stato sistemato dal condominio. Piccolo appunto sugli accessori da bagno: qualche shampoo in aggiunta sarebbe stato gradito
