− Atendimento sem pró-atividade. E comunicação muito ruim. Combinamos um horário de check-out, o qual não foi cumprido e alegaram um erro de comunicação interna. O nosso dinheiro referente o "late check-out " foi devolvido pelo hotel, no entanto o prejuízo por termos que remanejar todos os nossos horários, logística e compromissos foi muito grande.

A comfortable, well-located stay in a spacious family-friendly apartment right by Santa Croce

The apartment sits just 50 meters from the Basilica of Santa Croce — a genuinely convenient base for exploring the center of Florence on foot. The approach to the building is a little awkward, as it's right in the heart of the historic center and the streets are quite narrow for the mix of foot traffic they carry. That said, this holds true for almost any apartment in the old town, so it's not a fault of this place specifically. To reach the apartment you climb two floors on a narrow staircase. For us this was no issue at all, and it's clearly stated in the listing — I'm only flagging it for the many Booking.com guests who may struggle to manage around 50 steps with a couple of suitcases. The apartment itself is spacious, and having two bathrooms was a real convenience for a family with two children. Access was easy, and the host's description was thorough and informative. Cleanliness was good, if not flawless — nothing significant, just the small details a professional cleaning occasionally overlooks. Both bathrooms and the kitchen were well stocked with all the necessary consumables. The one real problem we encountered was a rattling air-conditioning unit in the bedroom. We chose not to trouble the host, since it was clear it couldn't be repaired during our stay — but our friendly suggestion would be to check the air-conditioning periodically between guests. We simply used the unit in the other room and stayed perfectly comfortable, even with daily temperatures of 36–37°C, so it never became a real concern. Communication with the host ran through the platform's automated system and was seamless, providing all the information we needed. The listing was spot-on — we got exactly what we expected.

Big size and central location.

− It is closed from multiple sides, not open and hence you get a feeling of boxed in. The bathroom shower didn't work and had to call someone everyday. They were prompt in sending the technician but the problem remained.
