Location

− The constant through the night traffic. Boy racers with big engines and small brains revving up and down the street. Woken several times to car backfires that sounded gunshots police and ambulances up and down with lights and sirens all night. Tbh it is on a main route as far as we can tell

A good price, very secure, but didn't sleep well

It's very well located between Marble Arch and Edgware Road tube stations. The number 98 bus goes from right outside the door and will take you directly to Oxford Strret or the British Museum. The host allowed us to check in early so we could drop our bags off before exploring London, which was really appreciated. The flat is very large and the shower was good. There's a small kitchen, which we didn't use, and a fridge. You enter the building via a reception desk and it felt very secure. One tip - for breakfast walk to Paddington Basin, which is a little oasis of calm in this bustling part of London, and is about ten minutes walk away from the flat. There's a fairly new Weaterspoons there where you'll get a full cooked breakfast and unlimited coffee for under a tenner.

− Even though a fan was kindly provided, it was very hot in the flat, even at night. Edgware Road is very busy all night long, so it can be very noisy. The double bed was very soft and the two other beds had very thin mattresses. The kitchen was very dated and didn't look very clean (although the rest of the flat was).

− Logement qui laisse a désirer au niveau de l'hygiène. Les 2 lits de campement n'offre aucun confort. Le propriétaire des lieux viens nous sortir du logement a 10h alors que nous avions réservé jusqu'à 11h. Nous lui faisons part de notre mécontentement concernant l'hygiène avec photos a l'appui. Celui-ci nous propose donc de nous dédommagé de 40 livres en échange de notre silence et un commentaire positif. Nous n'avons jamais reçus la somme promise. Nous ne conseillons pas ce logement.
