We really liked the apartment's location. It is very close to the center, and there is also a shop near the building as well as other restaurants.

− Unfortunately, there were several things we didn't like. First of all, the cleanliness left much to be desired; I don't think the place had been vacuumed or mopped at all. We even found a sock in a drawer—likely left behind by a previous guest—and spotted a few cockroaches as well. We had forgotten our slippers and had to go buy some because we were grossed out by the idea of ​​walking barefoot on the floor (they don't provide slippers). Besides that, the apartment differs slightly from how it appears in the photos. Our unit (I’m not sure if there are others or if this is the only one) was on the ground floor, right next to the building entrance. You could hear everything from outside—people simply chatting, cars passing by, and random noises. It wasn't too bad for us—I imagine many buildings in Italy are like that—but I thought it worth mentioning. Upon entering, you see the kitchen area with a couch, then you pass through a doorway into the bedroom, with the bathroom located to the left. We had seen a bathtub in the photos, but our unit had a shower stall instead (just in case that matters to anyone). Overall, we liked the location, but we were traveling with friends whose accommodations were impeccable—beautiful and spotlessly clean. We will definitely return to Florence, but certainly not to Dafne Apartments by Mamo Florence!

Beautiful apartment in Santa Croce

Very spacious and more than enough for a couple’s stay. The bedroom is really large and the living room/kitchen is well equipped for the most part! The location is perfect, not too far but also not too close to the busy center.

− A rather big piece of the paint from the bedroom ceiling just fell off in the middle of the night. We informed the host and cleaned everything ourselves but we didn’t even get a “we’re sorry for the inconvenience”. Otherwise their customer support was nice and helpful. The living room was extremely noisy at night.
