Cosy Apartment plus Self Checkin plus free Street parking

More functional then cozy, but still fine to stay at.

Apartment was clean. Although the entrance from the street is immediately to the room with the bed, I did not feel unsafe. The door automatically uses the safety lock when it gets closed. Upon arrival I had a problem with the light in the kitchen, this got resolved quickly. The contact with the host was pleasant. I would call the interior of the apartment more functional than cozy. The bathroom was more modern and good. The street the apartment is located at, has a lot of Arab style diner places and various shops.

− The apartment did not have double glazing. The room with the bed is located at the street side. The street is a busy street, so there was a lot of traffic noises (ending late in the night and starting very early in the morning). You could also clearly hear conversations of people passing by outside. This probably makes the apartment less suited for light sleepers or guests that have trouble sleeping with noises.

− Als ehemaliges Ladengeschäft weist das Appartement eine lange direkte Front zur belebten Straße auf. Der Eintritt von der Straße erfolgt ohne Zwischenraum direkt in den Übernachtungsbereich. Die Sanitärausstattung ist nicht zeitgemäß.

A well-equipped apartment with several comfort and management issues that reduced the overall value

The apartment is well equipped and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It includes a large refrigerator, a stove, an oven, a coffee machine, a hairdryer, kitchenware, an iron with a small ironing board, and a TV with Netflix and other streaming apps. The bed itself was comfortable, and overall the apartment was functional.

− The apartment is located on the ground floor, with the bedroom opening directly onto the sidewalk. As a result, you can clearly hear pedestrians talking outside, as well as passing cars and buses, which makes it difficult to rest. The pillows were of very poor quality, with the filling completely lumpy. The apartment also became very stuffy because it cannot be properly ventilated without opening the front door, which did not feel safe in the Neukölln area. The shower mixer was difficult to use, making it hard to find a comfortable water temperature between very hot and very cold. Finally, when I asked to extend my stay by one night, I was told to make a new booking, which resulted in being charged the €20 cleaning fee a second time.
