5.0Overall clenliness was OK except for the ants.
− Geseppie met us with keys but spoke NO english. Upon entering the apartment, it was VERY HOT. No A/C had been running. Geseppie didn't know how to get it working but got it going after about 40 minutes. The A/C cooled down the apartment eventually but shut off after the fourth day. We had to wait until the following day for Giseppe to work on the A/C. I had to show him very dirty filters which he tried to clean with a towel (INSIDE THE APARTMENT). Other annoying issues: 1) There are many lights and light switches that do not work. 2) Wifi was in and out the first night, then totally gone by day two. Elise replaced the Wifi unit and it was working by day 3. 3) There is NO counter space. Had to use the kitchen table for all food prep while fighting with little ants that were everywhere. 4) Kitchen cabinets are cluttered with old, broken pots and pans where teflon is scratched off, broken handles, etc. Kitchen drawers are filled with junk, most of which should be thrown out. 5) Bedroom drawers are filled with what looks to be previous guest junk. Not many drawers were available for us to use. 6) Shower curtain is old and moldy and needs to be replaced. I could go on but you get the idea. The owner needs to go through that apartment, clean it out, and clean it up! Also needs proper maintenance on the A/C units or you will not have any cooling this summer.

− The fixtures and fittings were a bit tired. Shower pressure was barely a trickle, the toilet seat wasn’t properly attached to the toilet so it would come off every time I stood up.
