The apartment needs renovation, including furniture, and the smell should be removed. Also I would suggest to think more

Location of the apartment is good: it is near Taksim and Kabatas pier.

− 1. The apartment is very old. Everything in apartment is very “tired” of time and usage. It is not pleasant there, unfortunately, and the image generally is the same as on pictures but much older. There were tracks of drips and floodings (on the bed, on the floor and furniture). 2. The smell. There is the lingering smell of smoking in the apartment, especially in one bedroom so we just couldn’t stay in this room and didn’t use it eventually, though we were initially looking for an apartment with two bedrooms. Because sleeping with this smell would be impossible for me. 3. The apartment was lack of anything. There were no hand or foot towels, in the kitchen there were no towel at all, no soap, no dish washing soap, the sponge and the kitchen rag were old and dirty. The tea pot was dirty with the old made tea. There is a washing machine in the apartment but there were no washing powder (we had to buy one). So the apartment was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. We were visited by a doctor, wile we stayed there, and even the local doctor told us that this was the oldest-looking apartment for rent, he had been in in Istanbul while visiting the tourist patients. I wouldn’t recommend to go to this apartment while nothing is changed.

The location is great. 5-10 minutes walk to Taksim square. The apartment was very comfortable with useful facilities. Very helpful and kind host. I would stay there again. I think the apartmsnt was good deal for the money. We rented the apartment for 540€ for 8 days.

− The apartment looks older than what you see in the photos and photos are better version of the apartment. The apartment itself was really clean how ever the toilet and bathroom could have new painting to look better.
