This place exceeded our expectations with wonderful, English-speaking staff, great location, and comfortable room.
10.0Extremely convenient location - walking distance to a lot of food & entertainment (train station & bus stop also nearby). Room was clean & spacious with mini-fridge, microwave, and all the other little things that make the stay comfortable. Free laundry onsite, which was a big plus in the summer when we got sweaty easily & needed multiple showers a day.

9.0A charming gion central hotel, the staff was the most helpful and gracious we had in Japan, they really made the stay perfect. Helping with everything, from advice to reservations and just being super super nice. Hotel itself is clean, charming Japanese style (but modern where it should be) with a nespresso machine in the room itself which is quite a nice feature in these price ranges. Location was incredible especially as some of the festival parades go past the hotel which was really special. Will definitely be back!
− Breakfast is just croissants (and nice beverages). And gluten intolerant people will have nothing to start the day with. But besides that, perfect!
Unbelievable service
10.0Great location, spacious room but the best thing was the staff who really went out of their way to help and resolve any problems you may have. They are all super-nice. I lost my wallet in the taxi after I checked out and they got it back from the taxi company service and confirmed it was there on the telephone within minutes. Also assisted with restaurant bookings before we got there. Amazing service from thoroughly nice people.

10.0Localização, na região de Gion, perto de Pontocho (ruelas pequenas repletas de restaurantes, alguns com vista para o rio Kamo), espaço amplo do quarto, que tem pia, micro-ondas, cafeteira nespresso e geladeira. O hotel é pequeno, apenas 10 quartos. A noite, não tem porteiro, o hóspede entra com senha eletrônica.
− O acesso ao quarto era por escada. Não foi um problema, mas não sabíamos.
