Stylish London Apartment, near Hampstead Heath

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed exploring the local area.

Quiet location 7 minute walk to nearest tube station. Nice bistro round the corner. Well equipped apartment suited to our needs for the weekend. Comfortable bed and good shower.

− The wash hand basin in the toilet is very small and difficult for washing and shaving. No recycling facilities or mention of it in the guest information sheet. The fan in the bedroom/living area could do with updating as it was an extremely hot weekend.

The property is beautifully renovated and the area was generally quiet and safe. The apartment is spacious for London. The host was lovely and very communicative.

− The property was not nearly as clean as we hoped it would be. Quite dusty and the rug and chairs were stained heavily. There were dishes and kitchen utensils that were clearly put back dirty or not fully cleaned. For the amount we paid, I would have hoped we could trust that everything would be clean and sanitary. Additionally, there were many bugs (ie bees, flies) that would come in at night. We had to have the windows open for air during the 30-35° weather, and the supplied fan was too small to cool the space and would overheat and malfunction.

The property was located where I needed it to be and it had just what I needed for my stay.

The location was just what I needed: Close to tube station, Overground, and bus lines. As a single traveler, the property had just what I required: a comfortable bed, a great TV, and a kitchen for breakfast and snacks. The neighborhood was special: walk to Hampstead Heath and Parliament Hill, drink ciders at Southampton Arms, and eat great Italian at Rosella’s.

− Heater was a mystery to me, but I really didn’t need it. Bedtime noise caused by feral cats or foxes was a surprise. Regulating on demand hot water was a problem, but I chalk that up to British plumbing fixtures.

Check in et Check out très facile. Hôte particulièrement réactif et soucieux que ses hôtes se sentent bien, ce qui est très appréciable. Logement avec cuisine et vraiment tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner si on le souhaite (ce qui n’a pas été notre cas). Joliment décoré, avec goût. On se sent à l’aise dans cet appartement. Environnement calme. Appartement globalement calme ce qui est appréciable en plein Londres. Métro proche et accès au centre de Londres rapide.

− Nous n’en avions pas eu besoin donc cela ne nous a pas gênées mais aucun coin n’est vraiment prévu pour manger. Ceci dit, je ne verrais pas où cela serait possible. Cependant, il y a une table dans la chambre et deux chaises. Le lit a été un peu mou à notre goût. Rideaux pas opaques: la nuit, la lumière de l’immeuble d’en face reste éclairée, un peu l’impression d’être en plein jour. Quelques odeurs persistantes quand on ouvre la porte de l’immeuble mais qui ne sont en aucun cas perçues dans l’appartement!

Apartamento precioso!!! Barrio súper tranquilo, a 2 minutos de la estación de metro "Tufnell park", a una parada de Candem Town. Al lado del metro supermercados pequeños pero para comprar todo lo necesario. El apartamento delicadamente decorado con un gusto exquisito. La cama.. Uff, comodisima. Un 💯 acierto.

− Todo fué perfecto, la única pega es que no tiene persianas, con lo cuál, si necesitas oscuridad para dormir, aconsejo un antifaz
