Residenza Al Mercato Grande Canal
7.0The location was great, close to all the attractions, restaurants very close, many shops. Cute apartment with lots of windows and views, also could see the Grande Canal and a side canal. Well equipped. Modern yet rustic. Good value for the money, just wished there was a host there to greet us, would have been more personable.
− Beds were adequate but slightly hard and not enough cushion. 4 flights of stairs was tough with suitcases and backpacks. They key to lock the door was tricky, looked like an old key to a castle! the roof leaked when it rained, they should have had instructions on how the cook top worked and garbage sorting procedures. There is a hide-a-bed but no bedding provided. There were 2 of us and needed separate beds. Owner was responsive but with the time difference, it took a day or days to hear back. Gave us directions and contact numbers last minute which made me worried. But it all worked out. There is a fish market below that did have a smell but it wasn't too bad and did not bother me.
