A lovely property. The owner was very accommodating with check in and great with communication. Such a great location!! Clean! Lovely living room and bathroom

− No negatives - just things to be mindful of: Unfortunately I did ask for a high chair in advance as travelling with a toddler but when we arrived none was given. He did apologise as it was a bank holiday so he was unable to purchase one too - but it left us in a bit of a pickle with breakfast times. The second bathroom is absolutely tiny - manageable to use but just be aware it’s a squeeze haha Also - no lifts, so we had to carry the push chair up and down.

Charming apartment in a perfect location

The location is phenomenal. I used to live in San Frediano area, but I wanted my family to be close to the sites…as well as being in a nice area with shops and restaurants in close walking distance- so Santo Spirito was perfect. The apartment itself is so charming, the decor and set up were perfect for our family of 4 and a 1 year old child. The staff were attentive to our needs and available quickly when we messaged them.

− None of the air conditioners were working properly, they were all reading error codes. We messaged the property about this and they sent a repair man. But it didnt seem to get any better after he was there, and the error codes were still on the units. The apartment is above a very busy restaurant and bar, so leaving the windows open late at night meant a lot of noise. If you are a light sleeper, and need a cooler apartment- this might not be the right choice for you. In late September, the temperature outside was perfect to leave the windows open, and during the day we did…but then there was a bad mosquito problem happening. We all got a lot of bites during our stay, so it would have been nice to have some screens on the window shutters or some of those mosquito plug ins that repeal the bugs. These things would not deter me from staying at the apartment again though, as I loved the location. My family members that had the 1 year old child said they didnt think they would want to stay again unless the air conditioners were working properly. They would have preferred windows closed so that the baby wasnt getting bit by mosquitos, and less noise. Last comment on the property, we liked that it had a washing machine but there were no instructions on how to actually use it or the dryer functions. That could be a nice feature, as we had to google directions multiples times since we were not familiar with that type of washing system.
