− The worst check-in and checkout process and customer service possible. I have stayed in hundreds of places around the world and this was the absolute worst check-in process. I didn’t even know check-in could be so stressful. I have stayed and traveled around Japan more than four times and this is the only time I’ve had a terrible experience. This property has outsourced their check-in process to some kind of AI process and it is so glitchy and buggy it took us over six hours to check in leaving us stranded in the middle of the street and not knowing how we would access the place We had reserved to sleep while we were traveling internationally and arriving late at night needing a bed to rest. Truly ridiculous the hoops that must be jumped through in order to check in at this place. Could be simplified 10 times and even be maintained more securely. Truly ridiculous and disrespectful. This is hopefully the first and last bad review I will ever have to leave.
Great apartment, not centrally located.
9.0I loved how authentically Japanese it was. There was a table and mats to sit on. a full bathroom and a 1/2 bathroom. It was in a quiet neighborhood .
− The futons were not very comfortable for any of us. While the apartment was lovely, it was not located near anything that tourists would want to get to. We spent quite a bot on Ubers to get to things.
