9.0Very relaxing place, where all the staff take pride in making you feel comfortable and happy. Traditional room that is clean and fairly spacious. Very nice Kaiseki dinner (although some fishes were a bit too experimental for our teenage kids. Good location next to subway station and fairly close to Gion

Great spot in Kyoto
9.0Location was great. Close to shopping, a short walk to the start of temple row. Right on the subway line. Modern yet traditional Japanese hotel. Hot baths on the top floor. Clean tatami mat floors and futons that were reasonably comfy. Mr Tanaka, at the front desk was so helpful. Many thanks to him.
− The rooms didn’t accommodate many large bags. That required a bit of space juggling.
Excellent hotel and location!
10.0The hotel is very nice and we enjoyed the Japanese style room. The futon was a little uncomfortable for my back but I just pulled an extra one out of the closet and added it and that made it very comfortable. The room was large and attractive. We really liked the bathroom which had lots of hot water and a comfy shower. The staff were attentive and helpful. The location was great with a subway right outside the entrance, lots of food nearby and the room was still very quiet at night.

Between October and December, guests may be able to use only the public bathroom on the 3rd floor. In addition, the public bathrooms may be closed for 1 hour per day during these months for group bookings.
